GOLDEN SHORE MARINE RESERVE

The Golden Shore Marine Reserve is located at the mouth of the Los Angeles River. The City of Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Department has designated the area for a demonstration wetlands restoration project. After restoration, the area is expected to sustain a variety of fish species and serve as a feeding area for local and migratory birds.
