DOMINGUEZ GAP SPREADING GROUNDS

Public Works has prepared a wetlands study of the Dominguez Gap Spreading Grounds in Long Beach. The purpose of the study was to develop alternatives that incorporate wetlands, wildlife habitat, groundwater recharge and passive recreational features. The Dominguez Gap Spreading Grounds would continue to function as a detention basin and provide for groundwater recharge.
