Arrow Highway (Petition No. 56-1017)

Project Overview

Public Works proposes to install 4 dual mast arm streetlights on existing wood power poles with overhead wiring on the north side of Arrow Highway from Homerest Avenue to the County/City of Azusa boundary. The project area is proposed for annexation to the County Lighting Districts to install streetlights and to collect revenues from the benefitting property owners to pay for street lighting services via the annual property tax bills. The annexation process is governed by the California Streets and Highways Code and the results of Proposition 218 balloting by the voters/affected property owners will determine the success of the annexation. With successful balloting, Public Works will coordinate with Southern California Edison to complete design and install streetlights.
