How can I donate good cans of paint?
Answer:
If the cans of paint can be used by someone, visit our Los Angeles County Materials Exchange Program website (link below) and list your available materials. The program includes lists of "materials wanted" and "materials available" and it serves as an electronic marketplace where exchanges and transfer of materials occur between interested parties. LACoMAX does not provide warehousing or transportation services or otherwise get involved in the exchange.
If the paint cannot be used by someone, it should be dropped off at a PaintCare facility or be brought to a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event for proper disposal.
