Antelope Valley Illegal Dumping Task Force

The Antelope Valley Illegal Dumping Task Force was formed pursuant to the Board of Supervisors' instruction of April 9, 1996. The Task Force meets to discuss and coordinate illegal dumping prevention programs in the Antelope Valley. The meeting begins at 2:00 p.m., on the first Wednesday every other month.

To add an agenda item, please send your request to the AVIDTF secretary by email five (5) business days prior to a scheduled regular meeting.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 2 p.m.

Free Mattress Recycling Collection Events in the Antelope Valley
Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, in partnership with the Antelope Valley Illegal Dumping Task Force, will host free mattress collection/recycling events in the Antelope Valley. Residents may drop off up to 10 mattresses/box springs at two Public Works Yards on the following dates: February 23rd (Littlerock) and March 9th (Lancaster). Only mattresses and box springs will be accepted -- no other type of bulky items. For event details, please click here.

Tire Recycling Event
Residents are encouraged to bring their used tires to our free Waste Tire Collection Events. Tires will be accepted and recycled free of charge. Don't miss the opportunity to remove those stubborn tires in your yard, garage or community. Thousands of residents have taken advantage of this service.
